How is fire safety managed during fire alarm replacement works?

We carefully plan fire alarm replacements to minimise disruption to existing fire protection arrangements. Depending on the installation, works may involve phased changeovers, temporary detection arrangements or other agreed fire safety measures. Any necessary isolations are coordinated with the client and relevant responsible persons to maintain appropriate fire safety arrangements throughout the project.

Do you supply and install fire doors?

Yes. Pritchard Group undertakes fire door replacement projects, including the supply and installation of suitable fire doorsets and associated ironmongery. Our specialist installers have completed relevant Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Behaviours (SKEB) competence assessments, with installations carried out in accordance with applicable specifications, manufacturer requirements and quality assurance procedures.

What documentation is provided upon completion?

We provide relevant inspection, testing, commissioning and installation records appropriate to the completed works. Depending on the project scope, handover documentation may include fire alarm and emergency lighting certificates, as-installed drawings, fire door schedules, product information and photographic records of passive fire protection installations.

Can Pritchard Group deliver multiple fire safety improvements under one contract?

Yes. We coordinate fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire door replacements and passive fire protection works under a single project programme. This provides clients with coordinated project management, clear accountability and consistent quality assurance across the different disciplines.
